The opening concert of SUKMA XXI Sarawak 2024 day two went smoothly

KUCHING: The parade on the second day of the official opening of the XXI Malaysia Games (SUKMA) Sarawak 2024 went smoothly at the Sarawak Stadium on Tuesday night.

The meeting which started around 8 pm was also attended by Sarawak Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Minister Dato Sri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Sarawak Deputy Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Minister, Datuk Dr Ripin Lamat and Sarawak Deputy Government Secretary (Operations) who is also the Head Executive Officer of SUKMA Sarawak 2024, Datu Hii Chang Kee.

The presence of the guest of honor is to ensure that the rehearsal session runs according to the preparations that have been set in addition to ensuring that this glorious event runs smoothly.

The President of Sarawak Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar is scheduled to attend the full parade which will be held this Thursday.

The public with tickets can start entering Sarawak Stadium from 17 August with the public expected to fill 30,000 seats.

Meanwhile, another 10,000 seats will be specially opened for dignitaries, athletes and accompanying officials. - Edisi UKAS
