SSC invites all to cheer on for athletes participating at SUKMA XXI 2024: Free access to all matches

SIBU: Residents of Sibu and nearby areas are warmly encouraged to come out in full support of the athletes competing in the 2024 Malaysia Games (SUKMA XXI) from August 17 to 24.
According to the Central Region Officer for the Sarawak Sports Council (SSC), Mikar Changgan, entry to all events is free, and no tickets are necessary.
“For the Sibu cluster, three sports are on the schedule which are football, volleyball, and badminton.
“One of the most popular sports, football, started on Monday with the second group-stage match set for Wednesday at Tun Zaidi Stadium and Azman Hashim Stadium,” he said.
He said this at the SSC press briefing held at the Sibu Media Centre on Tuesday.
Additionally, he said that the public can get more details about the competition schedule at the Media Centre located in the Sibu Indoor Stadium, open from 8 a.m. to 10 pm.
“I hope the people in the central region will take advantage of this opportunity to attend and support our athletes,” he added.
Also present at the press conference were Media Centre Director, Jelani Ajang, Deputy Director, Awang Julaihi Awang Ali Bohan, and others. -Edisi UKAS
