HISTORY OF PARA SUKMA



 
The SUKMA is a multi-sport event held for athletes with disabilities (OKU) from all over Malaysia.
 
The Games were first held together with the Malaysian Games (SUKMA) in 2010 as soon as the SUKMA ended.
 
First held in 1982 and held every two years.
 
Previously, the Para SUKMA games were known as the Malaysian National Games for the Disabled. However, in 1998 the name of this theme was changed to the Malaysian Paralympic Games.
 
In 2018, the name of the sport was again changed to Sukan Sukan Malaysia (SUKMA).
